Roberto Firmino, the Brazilian forward who has played for Liverpool and FC Barcelona, is reportedly set to join Al Ahli in the Gulf League.
The move would see Firmino return to his homeland after spending time away from football during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Firmino's agent, Jorge Mendes, confirmed that the player had agreed terms with Al Ahli, but did not disclose details of the deal.
Firmino has been a key player for both Liverpool and Barcelona, scoring 75 goals in 264 appearances for the Reds and 88 goals in 230 games for the Blaugrana.
He was also part of Brazil's squad at the 2018 World Cup and the Copa America.
